Kicking Off the School Year with Connection, Community & a Whole Lot of Wildcat Spirit!

It’s been a busy—and exciting—few weeks here at the Splendora Education Foundation, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the energy, generosity, and smiles we’ve seen from our community. And now, with school starting in just a few days on Wednesday, August 13, the excitement is really building!

Wildcat Market & Employee Social
We started the school year with a bang! Our Wildcat Market & Employee Social was filled with laughter, shopping, music, and plenty of tasty treats. Local vendors brought everything from handmade jewelry to home décor (and even car freshies!). Big thanks to Citizens State Bank and ServiceMaster Restore for keeping our staff refreshed and to Oh My Crab and AM Donuts for the delicious snacks.

Community Generosity in Action
Our friends at Citizens State Bank in Valley Ranch went the extra mile by not only donating water and four $50 gift cards for staff giveaways. Our friends at First Financial Bank in Kingwood also went above and beyond and provided all staff who attended the Market, a little goodie bag. These little touches mean so much—they’re a reminder that our staff is valued and appreciated.

Men Who Cook—Here We Come!
We’re already gearing up for our biggest fall fundraiser, Men Who Cook on October 18! We’re thrilled to welcome Huckabee as our Title Sponsor this year. We still have room for more chef teams and sponsors, so if you’ve been thinking about getting involved, now’s the perfect time. (Trust us, it’s a night you won’t want to miss!)

Why It All Matters
Every handshake, every laugh, and every sponsorship helps us fund teacher grants, student scholarships, and district-wide programs that go above and beyond the basics. These events aren’t just “fun days”—they’re building blocks for a brighter future for every Wildcat.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of these moments with us. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the school year brings—and we hope you’ll be right there with us.
