A Day of Joy, Surprises, and $50,180 in Classroom Innovation: Grant Prize Patrol 2025 Recap

Last Thursday was one of the most exciting days of the year for the Splendora Education Foundation — our annual Grant Prize Patrol, where we had the honor of surprising teachers and departments across Splendora ISD with grant awards that will directly impact students for years to come.

And this year was BIG.
We awarded a record-breaking $50,180 in grants — the most we have ever given in a single year!

A Parade of Celebration Across the District

From the moment the first drumbeat sounded, the energy was unforgettable. Our Grant Prize Patrol traveled across campuses with a whole parade featuring the Splendora High School band, cheerleaders, administrators, board members, and donors — all coming together to help us deliver joy (and big checks!) to our winning teachers.

You could feel the excitement in every hallway. Students peeked around corners, teachers gathered at their doors, and as soon as they spotted the parade coming… the cheers began.

Supporting Innovation in Every Corner of the District

This year’s funded projects represent a wide range of creative and impactful ideas — from hands-on STEM tools to literacy initiatives, fine arts enrichment, flexible seating, technology for engagement, and much more.

Every grant awarded reflects what makes Splendora ISD special:
teachers who go above and beyond to create classrooms where students are excited to learn.

We are incredibly proud to help bring these ideas to life.
