Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat: Your Class Can Make a Difference

Graduation may mark the end of your years as a Splendora ISD student, but it does not have to mark the end of your connection to the Wildcat community.

Whether you graduated five years ago or 50 years ago, you are part of Splendora’s story—and you can help shape what comes next for today’s students and teachers.

The Class of 1980 Leads the Way

This year, the Splendora High School Class of 1980 showed us exactly what alumni support can accomplish.

Class members generously donated $3,800 to give each of Splendora ISD’s 19 first-year teachers a $200 Amazon gift card for classroom supplies.

Those gifts helped teachers begin the school year with resources they needed, but they also delivered something just as meaningful: encouragement.

They reminded our newest educators that the Wildcat community sees them, supports them, and believes in the work they are beginning.

Now, we are inviting other Splendora alumni to follow their lead.

Give in Honor of Your Graduating Class

Our new alumni giving challenge is a simple way to celebrate your class while helping create opportunities for the next generation of Wildcats.

You might choose to give an amount inspired by your graduation year:

• Class of 1991: $19.91
• Class of 2005: $20.05
• Class of 2020: $20.20

You can give more or less—the amount is entirely up to you. What matters most is participating and identifying your graduating class so it receives credit.

Every donation made in honor of a class will help the Splendora ISD Education Foundation support educator grants, innovative classroom experiences, student programs, scholarships, and other opportunities across the district.

A Little Friendly Competition

Of course, we know Wildcats can be competitive!

We will be tracking donations by graduating class to see which group shows the most Wildcat pride. Will one of our recent graduating classes rise to the challenge? Will longtime alumni show everyone how it is done? Or will the Class of 1980 continue to lead the way?

No matter which class finishes on top, Splendora ISD students and educators will be the real winners.

Your Connection Still Matters

Splendora has grown and changed through the years, but the importance of community has remained the same.

Our schools helped shape generations of students who went on to become business owners, educators, first responders, healthcare professionals, community leaders, parents, volunteers, and so much more.

This challenge is an opportunity to reconnect with those roots and give today’s Wildcats access to experiences and resources that can help shape their own futures.
