The People Behind the Aprons: Thank You to Our Men (& Women) Who Cook Sponsors

A great evening starts with great people—and we are fortunate to have so many who believe in supporting Splendora students and teachers.
On Saturday, October 24, Men (& Women) Who Cook will bring our community together at The Nathaniel Center in Kingwood for an evening of food, friendly competition, and fun. Behind that celebration are sponsors whose generosity helps turn a night out into opportunities for our schools.
Their support is about more than having a name on a sign. It helps the Splendora ISD Education Foundation fund educator grants, support student programs, and create learning experiences that give our students more opportunities to explore, grow, and succeed.
Thank You for Helping Make It Happen
We are grateful to Lockwood, Andrews & Newman (LAN), our Title Sponsor, and Littlefield Brothers Concrete Construction, our Prime Sponsor, for leading the way. Their investment sets the stage for an evening with a purpose that reaches far beyond the event itself.
We also extend a heartfelt thank-you to every sponsor helping bring this year’s celebration to life:
- Executive Chef: Huckabee, JOERIS, STX Roofing, First Financial Bank, and Thompson Horton
- Gourmet: EMCID, Community Impact, and Adam Dietrich
- Chef’s Choice Champion: Entergy, Principal Services, Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, and Elite Hospital
- Chef’s Choice: Hallmark Mitigation & Construction, The Signorelli Company, TNP, CRCU, Dustin Bromley, Southside Bank, and Terracon
- Kitchen King: TASCO/SHS Class of 1980
- Junior Chef: UDT Online, Lynch Livestock, Texas State Representative Janis Holt, PostNet-Spring Rayford Harmony, and Bill Hildebrandt – IMG Insurance
- Bar Sponsor: FFGA
- Photo Booth Sponsor: Frost Bank
From local businesses and community partners to alumni and individual supporters, each sponsor brings something valuable to the table. Together, they make this event possible and strengthen the Foundation’s work throughout the year.
Why Their Support Matters
Our teachers have ideas that can spark curiosity, build confidence, and make learning come alive. Our students deserve opportunities that help them discover their interests and imagine what comes next.
The Foundation exists to help bring those possibilities within reach. Sponsor support helps us say “yes” to more of those ideas and opportunities.
That is what makes Men (& Women) Who Cook special. We get to enjoy a fun evening together while investing in the students and teachers who are at the heart of our mission.
