5 Ways to Support Splendora Students Before the New School Year

A new school year is almost here, and there are many ways our community can help support Splendora ISD students and staff. From giving and sponsorships to simply sharing our story, every connection helps us create more opportunities across the district.
Our work is made possible through the generosity, involvement, and encouragement of our community. Whether you are a local business owner, parent, alumnus, district employee, or community supporter, there are several ways you can help us continue to elevate learning experiences throughout Splendora ISD.
1. Become a Sponsor or Donor
Community sponsorships and donations help the Foundation fund educator grants, student programs, scholarships, district events and other opportunities that may not be covered through the regular district budget.
Every gift, no matter the size, helps us provide additional resources and experiences for nearly 5,900 students across our Title I district.
2. Schedule a Coffee Meeting
One of the best ways to learn more about the Foundation is through a simple conversation.
We would love to meet with local businesses, community organizations, and individuals who are interested in learning more about our mission, upcoming events, and opportunities to get involved. A cup of coffee could be the beginning of a meaningful partnership that benefits Splendora students and staff for years to come.
3. Own a Piece of Splendora History
Our limited-edition commemorative knives are currently available for purchase. Each knife features a handle crafted from reclaimed wood from the original Splendora gymnasium floor, making it a unique keepsake for Wildcat alumni, former educators, coaches and community supporters.
Knives are available for $119.99 through August 1. After that date, the price will increase to $149.99. The final day to place an order is August 15.

4. Encourage an Educator to Apply for a Grant
The next round of Splendora ISD Education Foundation Educator Grants will open on August 24.
These grants give teachers and staff members the opportunity to bring creative programs, innovative resources, and meaningful learning experiences into their classrooms and campuses. Community support allows us to say “yes” to more of the thoughtful ideas submitted by our educators.
Encourage the educators in your life to begin thinking about the projects they would love to make possible for their students.
5. Follow, Share and Help Us Spread the Word
Supporting the Foundation does not always require a financial contribution.
Following our social media pages, sharing our posts, attending events and introducing us to potential sponsors can make a tremendous difference. Every share helps more people learn about the needs within our district and the many ways our community can help.
Every Connection Makes a Difference
There is no single way to support public education. Whether you donate, sponsor an event, purchase a commemorative knife, attend a Foundation activity, or simply share our story, you are helping create more opportunities for Splendora ISD students and staff.
Together, we can continue building strong community partnerships and elevating learning experiences throughout Splendora ISD.
