April Highlights: Celebrating Growth and Community Impact

April was an exciting and productive month for the Splendora Education Foundation as we continued to build momentum in support of our mission to empower education and opportunity for all students and staff in Splendora ISD.

New Website & Logo Launch

On April 23rd, we proudly unveiled our new website and refreshed logo, marking a significant step forward in our branding and outreach efforts. The updated website offers a more user-friendly experience, providing easier access to information about our programs, events, and ways to get involved. Our new logo reflects our evolving mission and commitment to serving the students and staff of Splendora ISD. This rebranding and marketing effort was made possible through a special partnership with the Leadership Montgomery County Class of 2025, who selected the Splendora Education Foundation as their class project. Community Engagement with Local Leaders

Also on April 23rd, the Leadership Montgomery County class hosted a special gathering with community leaders and dignitaries to introduce—or reintroduce—them to the Splendora ISD Education Foundation. This event allowed us to share our mission, recent accomplishments, and future goals, fostering stronger partnerships and community support for our initiatives.

Purse Bingo Fundraiser – A Sold-Out Success!

On April 25th, we hosted our inaugural Purse Bingo at Fountain View Farm—and it was a resounding success! The event sold out in advance, drawing a full house of enthusiastic supporters. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees and sponsors, we raised over $20,000 to support educational initiatives across Splendora ISD. The evening was filled with excitement, featuring designer handbags, spirited bingo games, and a strong sense of community.

Big News: Scholarship Winners to Be Announced Soon!

We also finished grading all the scholarship applications from our amazing students and hardworking paraprofessionals! Our committee had a tough time because of all the incredible submissions. We’re so proud of everyone who applied and can’t wait to celebrate the winners next month when we officially award the scholarships.
